Mortgage Underwriter

IK Financial is looking for a qualified and experienced Mortgage Underwriter to join our exciting and dynamic team on a Permanent (Full-time) basis.

College Diploma or University degree

(Preferred)

2 Years Banking or Brokerage Experience

Experience in the mortgage industry, structuring and underwriting deals

Russian speaking

(Preferred)

Candidate Requirements:

Strong knowledge of mortgage underwriting guidelines/policies.
Proficient in mortgage application/approval processes
Experienced with various portals and software required for mortgage approval processes such as Filogix, NAS, DocuSign, Purview, etc.
Able to review, read and interpret various financial and Bank documents such as income/tax forms, Bank statements, appraisal reports, etc.
Familiar with various lender portals
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Flexible to work outside of business hours (if needed)
